Eureka wants to continue to offer the best in products and services to its customers as well as to maximize its operational efficiency. The core conversion is a major step in accomplishing both goals. Later in this communication we address new services you can expect by Fall of 2019, and into 2020.
Current Debit Card holders will receive a new contactless Debit Card in October 2019. With our new card, you’ll be able to use it as a normal debit card, along with the added feature of contactless transactions at merchants who support this. Our ATM cards will also be replaced with a new card at time of conversion. The bank will now be able to instant issue our new cards at any of our branch locations. You will also be provided with a new debit card, so if you have any automatic payments set up with your debit card, you will need to contact merchants to change your number.
We do not anticipate there being any time you will be unable to access your funds by debit card or check. We planned the conversion around a weekend (September 13th-Septemer 16th) to minimize impact on you, while offering complete access to your funds. However, please carry an alternative form of payment during conversion weekend in case Eureka Savings Bank experiences an unplanned disruption of service. Should you have any questions, please call 815-223-0700.
Online banking will be unavailable starting on Thursday, September 12 at 3:00 p.m. Our new system will become available on Monday, September 16 at 8:00 a.m. You will still log in with your current User ID, but will be instructed on how to obtain and process a new password. Separate information will be provided to all Internet and Mobile Banking Customers.
Payment books will be replaced with monthly statements if you wish. You may also set up automatic payments from a Eureka account, or from an account at another financial institution can be set up. Talk to the loan department if interested.
