Before Eureka, what other jobs did you have?

Before working at Eureka, I worked at a few locations in the food industry, which led me to working at and managing a local Shell Gas Station. I did that for a little over 3 years. I decided I wanted to get into a job with better hours and that is when I started working at Eureka Savings Bank.

What are your responsibilities at Eureka?

My daily job responsibilities, first and foremost are customer service.  I work in the drive up and help customers with their transaction, be it a deposit, withdrawal, loan payment or general questions.  I also assist the loan department in tracking their home owners insurance and updating our system with their insurance information.

Tell us a little about yourself outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and grown sons. I also really enjoy my grandchildren, Cody, Brianna, Justin & Emmett. I like to craft with my sister, but my favorite thing to do to relax after a long day of work, is take long walks with my dog, Prancer!

What kind of advice would you have for a soon to be college graduate?

As someone who did not attend college, I would say to them find a path that suits you best in your life. There are plenty of great job opportunities available for someone who doesn’t feel like college is the right path for them. If you work hard, and are dedicated to what you believe in, you can make a great life for yourself and enjoy what you do for your job every day.
