Before Eureka, what other jobs did you have?

When I was younger, I used to take care of several of our neighbors’ lawns during the summer time. Then throughout most of high school and college, I worked for an auction company.

What are your responsibilities at Eureka?

My job encompasses a range of duties as I am part of the loan process from beginning to end. I am responsible for analyzing commercial loan requests and preparing the corresponding loan presentations. Along with this I also prepare commercial loan documents, board and maintain the loans and perform any customer service/requests the borrower might have in relation to their loan.

Tell us a little about yourself outside of work

In my free time, I enjoy going to auctions to find unique antiques and anything to do with local history. With interest in local history, I volunteer my time as Treasurer of the La Salle County Historical Society.

What kind of advice would you have for a soon to be college graduate?

I would say, it’s never to early to save for retirement. No matter the amount, make it a priority to save a portion of your pay check. Then make sure to take advantage of any benefits your employer might offer, like a 401K.
